Ceylon Curry Corner
Ceylon Curry Corner
Ceylon Curry Corner is a much-loved pop-up food van dishing up delicious Sri Lankan curries every Friday and Saturday night. Usually set up about 600 metres from Nomads, just off Nelly Bay Road beside the old helipad, it’s run by the friendly duo Himali and Nate. Recently, they also took over the beachfront bar and restaurant, Sandi’s, so your best bet is to check the weekly specials board there to see when their famous curries are on offer. You’ll still spot them at local events throughout the year, including Surf Life Saving celebrations, Nomad’s Beats and Eats days, and Bounce Magnetic Island festivities.
