Dom is your skipper aboard C/Level, a custom built six metre Bonito with a full walk around deck and onboard toilet. Best of all, the charter is private, so you won’t be mixed in with another booking. The boat and Dom’s local knowledge are dedicated to your group for the day.

Inshore charters explore the waters surrounding Magnetic Island, with opportunities to fish fringing reefs, shipwrecks, shoals, rocks and mangroves. Depending on the conditions and what’s biting, you could be bottom fishing for coral trout, red emperor, tusk fish, trevally and cod, or trolling for pelagic species including mackerel and tuna.

For those wanting to venture further, offshore charters head beyond the island to explore the outer Great Barrier Reef. Spend the day fishing offshore reefs and shoals, with opportunities for sport and game fishing depending on the season, conditions and target species.

Of course, getting there is half the experience. Fishing around Maggie means travelling past some pretty spectacular coastline, secluded bays and granite headlands. Keep an eye out along the way for turtles, dolphins, dugongs, rays and birdlife, with humpback whales sometimes passing through during their annual migration.
