Saltwater Restaurant Magnetic Island
Tucked into a tropical setting in Nelly Bay, Saltwater Restaurant brings modern Australian fusion dining to Magnetic Island, with a menu built around fresh seasonal produce, premium meats and some of the finest seafood sourced from Queensland and around Australia.
Led by Executive Chef Daniel Blakeman, the menu changes with the seasons and combines Australian ingredients with flavours and influences from around the world. Depending on the menu, you might find fresh oysters, Moreton Bay bugs, king prawns and locally sourced fish alongside premium steaks, duck and other carefully crafted dishes, plus Saltwater’s impressive hot and cold seafood platters.
Saltwater is also BYO, so you can bring along your favourite wine, champagne or beer to enjoy with dinner for a small corkage fee per person, with non-alcoholic drinks available to purchase at the restaurant.
Open for dinner Wednesday to Sunday from 5pm, Saltwater has become a popular spot for a relaxed dinner or special night out on Maggie. Bookings are recommended, particularly during busy periods, so it’s worth planning ahead.
