Jungle Club Magnetic Island
Jungle Club Magnetic Island
Jungle Club on Magnetic Island has a bit of everything, and we reckon it’s the perfect spot for your next catch up or a little solo cup-filling time. Tucked inside this property on Sooning Street, you’ll step into a thriving hub of creativity and community. Wander through the tropical gardens and you’ll find a cute as a button coffee van serving fresh brews, tasty matchas and homemade banana bread.
Cora, the boutique on site, has collections that fit our slow island life perfectly. Think cotton, bright prints, sweet bucket hats and plenty more. Terra and Tide is the homewares store you walk into “just for a look” and walk out of wondering if you need an extra bag to get everything home. There are also a handful of art studios, including local artist Hannah Aiello’s space. Pop in for a browse and a hello, and you might even see a little magic happening right in front of you.
Be Seen Beauty is run by our island beauty girl, Justine, keeping our skin fresh and our minds relaxed in the sweetest little space. There’s also a physio onsite, plus Locale Co Working, a coworking space with private meeting rooms, fast WiFi and everything you need right at your fingertips. And we almost forgot to mention pizza nights. Ric’s Woodfire Pizzas sets up most Friday and Saturday evenings (check their Insta to be sure) and honestly, it’s just like Nonna would make it.
All together, Jungle Club feels like a real community. It’s welcoming, creative and packed with little gems that show off what makes Magnetic Island so special.
WHAT WE LOVE
The tropical garden oasis
Tucked just off bustling Sooning Street, once you step inside, you could honestly be anywhere. Sweet sitting nooks, a breezy courtyard, deck chairs and a bright blue pool all make it way too easy to settle in. You’ll stay longer than you planned.Slow island style
Between Cora’s island pieces and Terra and Tide’s curated boutique, it’s easy to find things that suit our slow island lifestyle. Little treasures that add to your time here and become something you keep forever. No fridge magnets here, thanks.Creativity central
It’s pretty special being able to meet the artists you’re buying from. Jungle Club also hosts loads of workshops, from block printing and mosaics to sip-and-watercolour sessions. Check what’s on during your trip.
