Located along the Picnic Bay esplanade, just steps from the beach and historic jetty, Picnic Bay Hotel is one of those classic island spots where afternoons tend to roll into evenings without much effort. The R&R Bar and Restaurant offers laid-back dining with that classic Magnetic Island atmosphere, while the Sports Bar brings a more lively energy with live sport, pool tables, TAB facilities and regular entertainment. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink, gathering with friends or spending the afternoon watching the game, it’s the kind of venue that suits just about everyone.

Tucked within the tropical grounds, the Water Garden Oasis Function Centre has also become a popular setting for weddings, celebrations and island events. There’s even a Liquor Legends bottle shop conveniently located inside the hotel, making it easy to grab supplies before heading back to the beach or accommodation.
