Ready to explore Magnetic Island on two wheels?

Road Runner Scooter Hire offers Magnetic Island’s petrol scooter hire, with a range of options for getting out and exploring the island at your own pace. Choose from single or dual-seat scooters, trail bikes and road bikes, or opt for one of their 4WD vehicles if you’d prefer four wheels.

Located in Nelly Bay, Road Runner has been operating for more than 30 years and caters for everyone from experienced riders to those with limited scooter experience. Their team provides an introduction before you head out, making sure you’re comfortable and confident with your chosen ride.

Spend the day cruising between Magnetic Island’s bays, beaches and attractions, stopping along the way for a swim, a walk or some wildlife spotting. For experienced riders wanting to venture further, trail bikes are also available, with access to some of the island’s unsealed roads.

Road Runner also offers a courtesy pick-up service on request, making it easy for visitors arriving at the Nelly Bay ferry terminal to get started.

Licence requirements vary depending on the vehicle. Single-seat scooters require a car licence, while dual-seat scooters and trail bikes have additional motorcycle licence and experience requirements. Minimum hire age is 18.
