Perched above the sand at Nomads Magnetic Island, The Island Bar is about as close as you’ll get to having a drink right on the beach. Grab something cold, find a spot overlooking the Coral Sea and settle in as the afternoon rolls towards sunset.
By day, it’s an easy place for a relaxed drink with one seriously good backdrop. By night, things pick up. There’s a packed lineup of entertainment, with parties, games, live shows and DJs keeping things moving throughout the week.
If you’re hungry, Island Burger is right there serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, so you can pair your beer or cocktail with a proper feed without giving up that beachfront spot.
Come down for an afternoon drink and the view, stay for sunset, or head in later when you’re looking for somewhere a little livelier. The Island Bar can be two very different places depending on what time you arrive, and that’s part of the fun.
